Environment Canada issued a special weather statement forecasting snow, rain and possible freezing rain for Hamilton and the rest of southern Ontario. But for those of you who would like to brave the weather, here are a few things to do in and around the city to savour the last bit of the holiday.
Christmas craft workshop
The Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology is hosting a free craft workshop this weekend. The self-guided, drop-in workshop takes place at the museum's craft centre. The event is open to all ages.

Wild Kratts - Live!
Watch TV celebrities Martin and Chris Kratt come to life on stage at the all-new theatrical performance Wild Kratts - Live! The stars of the Emmy-nominated animated TV series will take you and your children on a three-hour adventure.

Salute to Vienna 2015
The new year's concert returns to Hamilton for the 15th season on Sunday. Celebrate the start of the new year with an all-star cast of European singers, dancers and a full orchestra. This year's cast features the Strauss Symphony of Canada and the Hamilton Children's Choir.

Savour the Christmas spirit
As the holiday season comes to an end, this is the last weekend for many of the Christmas-themed events.

Last but not the least, this is the last weekend to pick up some festive spirit at the Gage Family home at the Battlefield House Museum & Park.
