Bill Cosby doesn't know what he's going to be walking out to when he plays in Hamilton on Friday night, local activist and writer Anne Bokma says.

"I believe Hamilton Place is going to be half-empty," Bokma told CBC News. You can view her interview in the video above.

Cosby, the long-time comedian and star of his eponymous show, has been mired in scandal since more than two dozen women have come forward with allegations that he sexually abused them. In some cases, Cosby is accused of drugging the women.

None of the allegations have been proven in court. That doesn't matter to Bokma, who has been collecting tickets from those who no longer want to go.

"We believe these women," she said.

Bokma and several other demonstrators also plan to stage a protest inside the show.

"Our intent is to stand up for the women that he's victimized."

There will also be a protest outside the theatre.

Several other prominent Hamiltonians have spoken out against Cosby's performance in the city. Mayor Fred Eisenberger said he wouldn't attend Cosby's show, while Coun. Aidan Johnson says he plans to protest outside the show on Friday.
