With any luck, you'll be on a beach, at Bayfront Park, at a cottage or barbequing this Canada day.
But for everyone who managed to forget to pick something up, or even worse — has to work — here's a list of what's open and closed in the city this Canada day.
Beer, liquor and grocery stores:
All liquor and beer stores in Hamilton are closed on Canada Day, so make sure to stock up beforehand.
Most local grocery stores are closed, but according to the Fortinos website, the Eastgate location at 75 Centennial Parkway is open on Canada day.
Retail stores:
Most retail stores and banks are closed on Canada Day.
Garbage and recycling pick up:
There will be no green bin, blue box, bulk waste, yard waste, or garbage pick-up on Tuesday. Pick up will occur on the day after your regularly scheduled collection day, and waste must be at the curb by 7 a.m.

Public transit:
Both GO Transit and the HSR will be operating on a holiday schedule on Tuesday. Visit GO Transit online or call HSR information at 905-527-4441 for more details.
DARTS:
DARTS is operating on holiday service hours on Canada Day. All subscription trips with the exception of dialysis are cancelled. If passengers need to travel Tuesday, they needed to make an advance reservation to do so.
ATS customer service will be closed.
Recreation:
All of the city's recreation centres, pools, arenas and Summer Supie program are closed – but the city's outdoor pools are offering a special Canada Day schedule.
Dundurn Castle, Whitehern Historic House, Battlefield House Museum, Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology, The Hamilton Military Museum, Fieldcote Museum and Griffin House are closed Canada Day.
Dundurn National Historic Site is hosting its annual Canada Day Military Tattoo on the grounds in front of Dundurn Castle at 7 p.m. The Hamilton Children's Museum is currently closed for renovations.
Hamilton Public Library branches are closed.
Public Health:
