As a city task force ponders over if additional bylaw officers handing out tickets will persuade the panhandling, drug dealing and public loitering and urination of downtown core, CBC Hamilton asked the residents who walk the street a simple question.

How do they feel about the state of downtown?

It was once a bustling neighbourhood where steel money was spent. It's also been the less than appeasing transit hub. Right now, the transit hub has moved to McNab St., and a methadone clinic has moved in. But so too have food trucks and a pedestrian pilot project along the south side of Gore Park. So how is the core doing? Take a look.
