Hamilton police have found the city's big bad wolf.

Officers had been searching for the the suspect since Jan 1. That was the day, police allege, that two men entered the Esso Gas Bar at 1334 Main Street East, assaulted a cashier and stole money from the till. One of the men was wearing a distinctive wolf hat at the time.

Last week, police identified a 29-year-old they believe to have been the wolf-man. 

He turned himself in on Monday, police announced in a news release. He was charged with robbery and breach of probation and appeared in a Hamilton court Monday.

A 28-year-old turned also himself last month after seeing his picture on an evening newscast, police say. He was charged with robbery.
