Police have released new information on four suspects wanted in an Ancaster home invasion.
Hamilton police are looking for three men and a woman, most in their early twenties, who forced their way into a home around 1 a.m. on March 12.
Initial police reports say the incident happened in Waterdown, but clarified Thursday that it happened in Ancaster.
Police say the woman knocked on the front door of a home, waking the people who lived there. When the owner opened the front door, three masked men entered the home and knocked down the homeowner.
Nothing was taken and all four left in an older (2000 to 2004) Nissan Maxima. They didn't take anything, and the person they were looking for did not live there, police say.
The suspect descriptions are as follows:
- Female suspect: 5'8", slender, straight shoulder length medium brown hair, white, late 30s or early 40s, wearing a medium blue parka and jeans.
- Suspect 1: 6' to 6'1", very thin, early 20s, brown eyes, wearing dark clothing and a scarf pulled over his mouth and nose.
- Suspect 2: 5'4", 185 pounds, stock build, early 20s, brown eyes, wearing dark clothing with a scarf pulled over his mouth.
- Suspect 3: 5'10", medium build, early 20s, wearing dark clothing with a scarf over his mouth and nose.
Anyone with information should call police at 905-546-2377 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
