In unfortunate traffic news, Wilson Street is still closed from James to Hughson street after a water main break yesterday. City crews are still out repairing the road and traffic is being diverted onto James Street from York Blvd.
November 13 is World Kindness Day, so please, go out and be kind to anyone and everyone you encounter.

On local highways, the 403 Toronto-bound from Highway 6 South to all the way to Aldershot is moving slowly. The LINC from Garth to the 403 is also slow.
In town, we're starting to see some access routes down to the lower city move slower than normal, the West 5th access in particular, as well as the Jolley Cut. King Street from Victoria to James is slow.
Because of that road closure at Wilson Street, traffic along John Street in that area is heavy.

Police are asking for help after an overnight homicide on Riverdale Avenue in Stoney Creek. According to police, a man called 911 from the parking lot at Eastgate Square to report he had killed a woman around 11 p.m Tuesday night. The 35-year-old man was charged with first-degree murder. If anyone in the area has information, police ask to call Det. Benoit Thibodeau at 905.546.3926 of Crime Stoppers at 1.800.222.8477.
A preliminary inquiry date is set for Tim Bosma's accused killers. Both Dellen Millard and Mark Smich will start their hearing Sept, 8 2014. Crown Attorney Craig Fraser said that is the first agreeable date for all parties. Millard and Smich appeared yesterday in a Hamilton court via video link from their detention centres.
CBC Hamilton's series on prescription drug use and abuse in Hamilton continues today. Staff Sgt. Paul Downey says use is fuelling crime in the city. Read the second part of reporter Adam Carter's stories.
