The Hamilton police explosive device unit is on scene at an East Mountain plaza where incendiary devices were found early Tuesday morning.
The devices — bottles filled with a flammable liquid — did not ignite after being tossed through a rear window.
Officers were first called to 798 Concession St. around 4 a.m. for a suspected break and enter at a restaurant, says police spokesperson Const. Debbie McGreal-Dinning.
"It sounds like the suspects threw something through the window," McGreal-Dinning said.

All businesses in the plaza have been evacuated so that police can make a sweep and ensure there are no other devices present, she says.
"However, there is no concern for public safety for anyone living in the area."
A witness saw three suspects take off in a vehicle last seen on Crockett Street going towards the Sherman Cut. The police arson unit is now investigating.
