Thief nabs Xbox in Hamilton home invasion

Police are seeking a male suspect in connection with an east-end home invasion.

On Wednesday at about 9 p.m., a male was sleeping in a pool house behind a house on Eastvale Place and Armstrong Avenue. He awoke when he heard a knock on the window. An intruder carrying a knife forced his way inside, grabbed the victim's Xbox console and then fled the scene.

Police said the victim was not harmed.

The suspect is described as a blue-eyed white male, approximately 5'8" in height, wearing a dark blue jacket, sweatpants, a camouflage ski mask, and running shoes with grey, orange and purple detailing.

Police ask anybody with information about the incident to contact Det. Bob Hill at 905-526-2930.
