Hamilton police need your help tracking down a man they say sexually assaulted or exposed himself to multiple groups of women over the span of just hours on the Mountain Tuesday.
There were four attacks and seven victims who, in all but one case, were teenagers. The incidents all happened on or near Mohawk Road by Upper Paradise Road.
The first happened around 3:13 p.m. when a 16-year-old teen and a 19-year-old woman were waiting for a bus when a man stopped, opened his sweater and exposed himself. He then ran off going northbound on Magnolia Drive and then west on Lavina Crescent.
Then between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., two teenager girls were walking in the area of Rice Road and Mohawk Road when a man passed by them and grabbed one of their breasts, police say. One of the teens screamed and the man ran away, heading south.
Then just before 8 p.m., two 17-year-old girls were walking in the area of Rice Road at Mohawk Road when a man ran up behind them and grabbed both of their buttocks at the same time. Both of the teens screamed and the man ran towards Harvard Square.
Then at around 8:13 p.m., a 46-year-old woman was walking east around 675 Mohawk Road West when a man walked up to her and grabbed her breast. The suspect ran off with the victim chasing him, but she lost sigh of him between Upper Paradise Road and Rice Avenue.
"The investigation indicates that the same individual may be involved in each of these incidents," a police news release reads.
