Hamilton police are investigating a possible case of arson after a small fire was set in a Stoney Creek school gym.
Police were called to Mountainview Elementary School, on Barton Street East, around noon Wednesday to deal with the fire.
Preliminary indications suggest the small fire was intentionally set, police said in a news release. The arson unit and the Ontario Fire Marshall are both investigating.
Police did not release any details about potential suspects.
