City offices
All city administrative offices will be closed on Friday, April 3 and will reopen on Tuesday, April 7.
For emergencies involving roads, water mains, sewer systems, public health and safety issues, please call 905-546-CITY (2489).
Garbage collection
There will be no green bin, blue box, bulk waste, yard waste or garbage pickups on Friday, April 3. They will occur on Saturday, April 4. Pickups for Monday, April 6 are unaffected.
Keep in mind that waste must be at the curb by 7 a.m.

Community recycling centres and transfer stations will be closed on Friday, April 3.
HSR
The HSR will be operating on a Sunday/Holiday schedule on Friday, April 3. Call 905-527-4441 for more details.
ATS-DARTS
DARTS will be operating on holiday schedule on Friday, April 3 and Monday, April 6. All subscription trips on DARTS, with the exception of dialysis, are cancelled for Friday and Monday.
If passengers need to travel on this day, they must make an advance reservation by calling DARTS Reservations at 905-529-1717.
LCBO
All LCBO stores will be closed on Friday, April 3 and Sunday, April 5. More than 295 stores will open on Monday, April 6 with modified hours.
The Beer Store
All retail stores will be closed on Friday, April 3 and Sunday, April 5. Regular hours are in place on Saturday and Monday.
Shopping malls
Lime Ridge Mall is closed on Friday, April 3 and Sunday, April 5. It opens from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, April 6.
Farmers' Market
Hamilton Farmers' Market are closed on Friday, Sunday and Monday. Saturday hours are from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Libraries
All branches are closed on Friday, Sunday and Monday. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, April 7.
Museums & galleries
All Hamilton civic museums will be closed Friday, April 3 and Monday, April 6.
The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum is on regular hours throughout the Easter holiday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Art Gallery of Hamilton is open on Friday, April 3 and Monday, April 6 with holidays hours from noon to 5 p.m. Good Friday also coincides with the museum's free Friday event, so admission is free during the operating hours.
