Halton police have made an arrest a day after a woman allegedly robbed a Burlington comic book store with a hammer. 

Police alleged that the suspect went to Conspiracy Comics, located at 2388 Fairview St., around 7:58 p.m. on Friday and made a small purchase. She then brandished a hammer and demanded money from the store employee before running away.

The employee was not injured, police said.

A 30-year-old woman was arrested on Saturday and charged with robbery. She is being held for bail and will appear in court on Sunday.
