Hamilton Police are investigating the theft of drugs used to sedate and kill animals.
Two vials and a small red toolbox went missing from an animal control officer's vehicle, who reported the theft occurred overnight between Thursday to Friday somewhere between Hamilton and Burlington.
Police are casting a wide search net because the drugs went missing during a time where the vehicle made several stops in both cities.
A euthanasia serum called T61, as well as a half filled bottle of a sedative, ACE Vet, was taken.
Anyone with information on the missing drug tool box is asked to speak with Division 30 police at 905-546-3886.
