Happy hump day, Hamilton!

We hope that nobody is feeling a little sluggish today post-St. Patrick's Day.

But if you are a little on the hungover side, these tips on how to feel better might help you out. (Psst – have some eggs and a banana this morning).

GO Transit is reporting some slight delays on the Lakeshore West line this morning, but no bus delays.

Police aren't yet reporting any major issues on the roads.

Today's forecast calls for sunny skies and a high of 4 C. Expect the temperature to dip down to –11 C this evening.

Tomorrow's forecast calls for mainly sunny skies and a high of 3 C.

Expect some rain or snow Friday and Saturday, with temperatures hovering just over the freezing mark.

Recent spills leaving fires burning for days and extensive damage from two derailed tanker trains carrying oil in northern Ontario have renewed concerns in municipalities around the province, including Hamilton, where potentially hazardous cargo frequently passes through the city by rail.

And Hamilton will be one of three pilot cities participating in an effort to provide longer-term places to live, accompanied by supportive services, for people experiencing homelessness. Read all about it here.
