We've wrapped up the first round in CBC Hamilton's competition for the best song to come out of Hamilton. Here's a recap of who's still in, who's been knocked out, and where the upsets were along the way.
With Hamilton as host city for the 2015 Juno Awards, we're looking for the best song by a Hamilton artist, and we're doing it with a no-holds-barred, single elimination, bracket-style online tournament.
We asked five people who know Hamilton's music scene intimately to help us make our choices for a top 16 tunes: Sonic Unyon's Tom Potocic, Lou Molinaro of This Ain't Hollywood, Diana Weir from the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra, Mark Furukawa from Dr. Disc and Jamie Smith, the former program director at INDI 101.
Here are the results from the first two conferences:
Teenage Head's Let's Shake beat out Junior Boys' So This Is Goodbye

Rita Chiarelli's These Four Walls won over early favourite Blackie and the Rodeo Kings' Lean on Your Peers
