Freezing drizzle should end by late Saturday morning, Environment Canada says
CBC News Posted: Dec 13, 2014 10:34 AM ET Last Updated: Dec 13, 2014 10:34 AM ET
A special weather statement is in place for Hamilton due to slippery surfaces from patchy freezing drizzle.
Environment Canada issued the statement around 5:30 Saturday, cautioning that untreated surfaces may become icy and slippery. Drivers and pedestrians should exercise caution.
Environment Canada adds that the freezing drizzle "is not extensive by any means" and will only pose risks in a few locations. It should end late Saturday morning as temperatures nudge above the freezing mark.
