One teenager was killed after being hit by a car near a Dundas McDonalds on Saturday, and a second died after being involved in a vehicle collision on Halloween night.
In Dundas, Hamilton Police said a 19-year-old man was crossing Cootes Drive around 7 p.m. when he was struck by a westbound Honda Civic.
The man was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition, but died the next day.
Police did not release the victim's name at the request of his family. Anyone who witnessed the collision is being asked to contact Det. Const. Wes Wilson at 905-546-4753.
On Friday, another 19-year-old male was killed when the Volkswagen sedan he was driving collided with a GMC pickup.
The crash occurred around 6:40 p.m. at the intersection of Brock Road and Concession 6 West in Flamborough.
Four people, including two children, in the pick-up truck suffered non-life threatening injuries and were treated in hospital.
The collision and resulting investigation closed the rural intersection for about eight hours, police said.
The Hamilton Spectator has identified the victim as Neeko Stein.
The deaths mark the 11th and 12th traffic-related fatalities of 2014. The Dundas death is the fourth pedestrian fatality in Hamilton this year.
