According to police, a man with a handgun and wearing a mask went into a Hasty Market on Queenston Road around 10 p.m.

Officers got there and searched for the suspect but couldn't find him. Nothing was stolen in the end, police say. The 31-year-old clerk sustained minor injuries after falling when running away.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call police at 905-546-2991 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
