Hamilton police are searching for a man who robbed a downtown bank on Monday morning.
Police said in a news release that a man entered the Scotiabank at 12 King St. E., across from Gore Park.
The man approached a female teller and demanded she turn over all of the money in the register, police said. The teller cooperated and the suspect took money and fled on foot.
Nobody was injured. Police did not say how much money was taken.
The police's Break and Enter, Auto Theft and Robbery (BEAR) Unit is investigating.
