Animal narcotics were stolen during a break and enter at the Flamborough Veterinary Clinic last week.

It happened early in the morning last Friday, police say, when somebody broke into the clinic on Highway 5 West and stole drugs.

A bottle of Epiclor was among the drugs stolen. It's used to treat acute cardiac failure during surgery for cattle, dogs and horses. Police say the narcotic can be lethal if taken without the supervision of a doctor.
