If you're looking for a movie to see this weekend, there are a few new ones opening in theatres (though nothing that's grabbing fantastic reviews). There's Melissa McCarthy's Tammy (though we still can't discern from the trailer what it's really about) and the police horror/thriller Deliver Us From Evil (yet another exorcism film). For the kids, there's Earth to Echo, about a group of kids who go on an adventure with an alien who needs their help.
If you're looking to get gas this morning, the cheapest price in the area is 133.9 at the Global at 1294 Hwy 6 & 8th Concession Road East in Flamborough.
The 6:55 a.m. GO train out of Union Station to Aldershot is delayed by about six minutes this morning.
Police aren't yet reporting any incidents on Hamilton area roads and highways.

A downtown Hamilton task force wants to launch a crackdown on loitering, spitting, drug dealing, public urination and other nuisance behaviours in the core.
The city's task force for cleanliness and security in the downtown core wants to see a police officer and bylaw enforcement officer dedicated to curbing the behaviours after a downtown property owner raised concerns to the committee about the impact on downtown business. The city's task force is looking at a three-year pilot project modelled after a similar effort in Barrie, Ont.
And when it comes to air quality in Hamilton, there's good news and there's bad news.
The good news? Hamilton's air quality has been dramatically improving since the mid-1990s, and continued to improve in the last year. Fewer Hamiltonians are also dying prematurely from bad air quality — 229 deaths in 2003 compared to 186 in 2012. The bad news? Some of that improvement is because the city has lost industry and manufacturing jobs.
