Good morning, Hamilton. It promises to be another beautiful, mild day. But soak up the sun on Thursday and Friday. You may soak while it rains on the weekend.
GO Transit isn't reporting any major delays on its train and bus lines running in and out of Hamilton.
Ontario Provincial Police aren't reporting any collisions on highways in the Hamilton area.
Environment Canada says a mix of sun and cloud are in store for Thursday, and skies are expected to clear in the evening. A high of 23 C is in the forecast for the day.
Friday is set to be another nice one. Mainly sunny skies and a high of 25 C is in the forecast for Hamilton.
The weekend is set to get soggy. A 60 per cent change of showers and a high of 24 C are in the forecast for Saturday. A 40 per cent chance of rain and a high of 28 C are in store for Sunday.
And a former Hamilton police officer is receiving another medal — not for his service on the city's streets, but for his work during the Second World War braving Arctic temperatures and rough seas to deliver supplies to northern Europe.

Sunsets at Pier 8 are pretty fantastic. But here's a view you've probably never seen before. Yan Theoret sent in a link to this video, shot with a drone over Hamilton's waterfront. It looks like one those TV spots advertising Ontario to potential tourists from down south. Enjoy.
