Hamilton police were called about a man with a gun tucked into the front of his sweatpants at a bus stop Friday – but it ended up being a pellet gun.
The man was waiting for a bus at 999 Upper Wentworth Street when officers found him, police say. He told police it was an unloaded plastic pellet gun.
The man turned the gun over to police to be destroyed.
No charges were laid.
