Hamilton police have arrested three youths after a string of vehicle break-ins in a West Mountain neighbourhood on Friday night.
Early on Saturday morning, officers went to Novoco Drive, near the intersection of Upper Paradise Road and Stone Church Road, after receiving a call about suspicious activity in the area, said Staff Sergeant Rob Hersics.
Around 5:45 a.m., police arrested three minors, including one who was hiding in a stolen vehicle.

Officers recovered "a number of unidentified items" as well as the car, Hersics said. The suspects, he added, allegedly broke into "more than a couple" vehicles.
Police are canvassing the neighbourhood on Saturday morning to ask residents if any of their belongings were taken.
"We're still waiting for people to wake up and see if their vehicles have been broken into," Hersics said.
The three accused are all under the age of 17 and include both males and females.
Hersics said residents who believe their property may have been stolen should call the Hamilton police communications centre at 905-546-4925.
