Hamilton police are looking to speak with witnesses to a Wednesday crash on the Linc that sent four people to hospital.

At 6:50 p.m., paramedics rushed to the scene of a three-vehicle collision in the eastbound lanes of the Lincoln Alexander Parkway near the Upper Paradise overpass.

A vehicle going westbound lost control and veered into the eastbound lanes, striking two vehicles, said police spokesman Greg Slack in a Thursday news release.

Emergency crews transported three drivers and one passenger to hospital. One driver sustained life-threatening injuries, Slack said.

The Linc was closed in both directions for several hours as a result of the crash.

Police are asking witnesses of the collision to who have yet to talk to investigators to contact Det. Const. Wes Wilson at 905-546-4752 or wwilson@hamiltonpolice.on.ca.
