Good morning, Hamilton. It's a sunny, cool morning out there today — which is a welcome sight after a dreary, wet week last week.
It should warm up to the mid teens by the afternoon, so make sure you dress in layers as you head out there.
Did you see something in the sky yesterday? Dozens of residents in southern Ontario say they saw a meteor streak across the sky Sunday afternoon, and an expert says there is little doubt that is what they spotted. Have any photos? Send them to us.

A couple of short delays on Lakeshore West GO trains this morning: the Union Station 6:55 a.m. to Aldershot GO 7:58 a.m. train is delayed almost six minutes, and the Union Station 7:13 a.m. to Aldershot GO 8:16 a.m. train is delayed just over five minutes.
Construction lane closures on the Gardiner expressway will likely slow things down for anyone heading to Toronto, too. GO Transit is warning of bus delays of up to 30 minutes during peak hours on Routes 16, 21 and 31.
Here are the issues police are reporting on the roads this morning:
- QEW Toronto bound at Royal Windsor Dr, Oakville: Disabled vehicle on the left shoulder. 8:45 a.m.
- QEW Toronto bound before Appleby Line, Burlington: two vehicle collision blocking the 2 left lanes, no injuries. 8:55 a.m.
- A collision on Old Governor's Road and Inksetter Road in Ancaster. 8:01 a.m.
- Hwy 403 EB at Hwy 6 North, Dundas: two vehicle collision on the right shoulder, no injuries. 7:33 a.m.
- A collision on Westbrook Road and Regional Road 20. 6:41 a.m.
Today's forecast calls for a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 15 C. Expect things to clear up this evening with a low of 2 C.
Tuesday's forecast is calling for sun and a high of 14 C.

Five months after staff at Little Ray's Reptile Zoo moved out around 30 of its animal residents that are banned under city bylaws, councillors are set to examine a proposal that would see many of the critters return home.
In a report that's set to go in front of council's planning committee on Tuesday, staff have recommended that the city amend its responsible animal ownership bylaw to allow some businesses to keep previously banned exotic animals for educational purposes. Steve Featherstone, owner of Little Ray's, is hopeful that councillors will vote to approve the amendments and end a "10 or 11-month process" that started in June, when the indoor reptile zoo at 869 Barton St. E opened its doors.
And dozens of people got a preview Saturday of the tech-infused two-wheeler that's hitting the Hamilton streets this summer as part of the city's new bike share program.
Representatives from Social Bicycles Hamilton (or SoBi Hamilton, for short) brought the bike to the Seedworks co-working space on Catharine Street North as part of Open Doors Hamilton. Did you miss out? Have a look for yourself.
