Happy Wednesday, Hamilton.
Did you know today is World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development? It's a campaign the United Nations has created to "deepen our understanding of the values of cultural diversity and to learn to live together better."
As part of the campaign, the U.N. is asking people to do one thing for diversity and inclusion. What will yours be? Find out more about World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development on the U.N. website.

After coming to every Hamilton police services board meeting since September, Norm Dorr isn't going to attend them anymore. Dorr is the father-in-law of Steve Mesic, a Hamilton man who was shot and killed by police last June.
Dorr and a large group of Mesic's family and friends first attended a board meeting on Sept. 13. He faced off against Mayor Bob Bratina and vowed to attend every meeting in the foreseeable future. Tuesday's meeting, when the board denied his request to talk about lapel cameras, will be his last at least for the summer, he said.
At city hall today, council will discuss the legal services report, which is a wrap up of their year in legal costs. Councillors are also set to discuss a church the city owns that has sat vacant since 1994, but predates the 1880s. You can follow along with reporter Samantha Craggs at city hall on Twitter.
This is an idea worth talking about (even if the YouTube video yells at you a little bit): solar powered roadways. It's an IndieGoGo campaign to build solar panels that you can drive, park, and walk on. Its creators say they melt snow, generate electricity, and cut greenhouse gases.
The campaign has raised just over $273,000, but is still well short of its $1-million goal.
