Wednesday snowstorm in forecast for Hamilton 1:09
Temperatures will reach 7 C Tuesday, but don't get used to it. There's a snowstorm on the way.
Snow will start to fall in Hamilton overnight Tuesday, and Wednesday, the city could get as much as 15 cm, says CBC meteorologist Jay Scotland.

"We had a taste of spring, and now we're back to 10 to 15 cm of snow."
The contrast hurts, but that's typical for March, which is a transitional time, weather-wise. Temperatures will dip as low as -9 C on Wednesday and Thursday, and be back on the plus side on Friday.
"The rollercoaster ride that defines March will continue," Scotland said.
Tuesday will be mainly cloud with a 40 per cent chance of rain in the late afternoon. Temperatures will reach 7 C - the warmest we've seen in months.
But rain or wet snow will begin late this evening and change to snow overnight, with lows of -1 C.

On Wednesday, Hamilton will get between 10 and 15 cm of snow, combined with biting wind chill and temperatures of -9 C in the afternoon.
"We're looking at snow falling, snow blowing, snow drifting," he said. "It's going to be messy."
Thursday is scheduled to be a mix of sun and cloud with a high of -8 C and a low of -16 C.
As for the rest of the week and weekend:
- Friday: sun and cloud and windy with a high of 3 C.
- Saturday: cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of snow and a high of 1 C.
- Sunday: sun and cloud with a high of -5 C.
- Monday: sun and cloud with a 40 per cent chance of snow and a high of -5 C.
Snow in March isn't unusual, Scotland said. On average, Hamilton sees 26.5 cm of snow in the month of March — as much as 20 per cent of its annual snowfall.
"Snow in March is something we don't like, but it's part of life."
The seasonal average is 3 C. Heading toward Fort Erie, snowfall could easily reach 20 cm this week, he said.
Meanwhile, famed Environment Canada climatologist Dave Phillips has included the blustery weather in his out-of-office voicemail message.
"Given the weather prospects for March, I've decided to disappear. Get out of town. Get out of the country," he said.
"With all that winter weather rage out there, I thought it would be best to come back in a different season."
