Hockey Day in Canada
It's the third annual Hockey Day in Canada on Saturday, Jan. 18. It's a day when Canadians are encouraged to come out and play hockey( as if we need the encouragement) and to celebrate our national game.
If you're looking for a hockey event in the city, play street hockey with friends and family for a good cause. It starts at 3 p.m at 25 North Gate Dr. Event organizer, Sam Sheculski, will be collecting canned goods to be donated to a local charity.
