One person is dead and two people were sent to hospital after a crash in rural Ancaster, police say.
Hamilton police say that one driver died at the scene of a crash on Trinity Road and near Book Road. Another driver has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries, and another driver was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Police say they don't know yet what caused the collision, which took place around 6 a.m. The collision reconstruction team is investigating.
A hydro pole was struck in the accident. Hydro One reports that 69 customers are without power as a result of the accident. They expect power to be restored by 4:00 p.m.

The coroner arrived on scene at around 9:45 a.m. to begin his investigation.
Trinity Road South has been closed between Book Road and Butter Road and will remain closed until about noon, police say.
Isabel Bullman, who lives on a farm on Trinity Road, awoke to the sound of the crash.
"It sounded like an airplane," she said. "It sounded like an explosion. It was such a loud impact."
She said many people drive too quickly on Trinity Road, where the speed limit is 80 km/h.
"It's very bumpy, hilly Ancaster farmland terrain."
