The new Good Shepherd Centre and 118 James North topped the City of Hamilton's annual Urban Design and Architecture Awards on Thursday. 

Thirteen awards were handed out for architecture, heritage conservation, streetscape, adaptive re-use, cultural landscape, environmental design and urban design. The people's choice award went to the Winterberry office building at 835 Paramount Dr., Stoney Creek.
