St. Joseph's Healthcare got an 8,140-pound addition this week: a new MRI scanner.
It was installed as part of the redevelopment of the West 5th campus, which is set to be complete by 2014. It will be part of a new suite of diagnostic services.
A crew of eight people from Wigenback Industrial Rigging and Moving spent three weeks planning the move. We put a GoPro camera on the crane to get a unique view of the delicate installation. Watch the time lapse video.
