Toronto police officers have continued their search of the Waterloo Region farm of Dellen Millard for the second day in a row as they investigate the disappearance of Toronto woman Laura Babcock.

Forensics and homicide officers wearing protective clothing were seen going in and out of the main barn at the property Tuesday morning.

Meanwhile, Waterloo regional police officers at the scene brought a truckload of plywood sheeting about an inch thick, as well as pitchforks and fan rakes. They started taking hay out of the farm and had removed a stained plank of wood from the barn.

Babcock, 23, had a relationship with Millard, police have said, and was reported missing in June 2012.

Millard and 25-year-old Mark Smich have both been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Hamilton man Tim Bosma.

Babcock's cellphone records show Millard was one of the last people she called before she went missing.

Investigators on Monday spent the day carefully searching a barn on the property. Towards the end of the day, officers from Waterloo Regional Police's drug unit searched the barn. Police have released few details about the current search.

Burned human remains were previously located on the farm, and investigators said they were confident they belong to Bosma.

Millard, the 28-year-old heir of a family aviation business, was charged with kidnapping and killing Bosma after the husband and father disappeared after he went on a test drive of a truck on May 6 with two strangers who responded to an online ad.
