Some memories from Facebook:
"All I remember was feeding my three-week-old daughter in the dark, and it was sooo hot. We were waiting for my husband and son to come home from Wonderland; stuck in traffic from all the chaos!" — Melanie
"Having a barbecue with the whole neighbourhood so the meat didn't go to waste." — Linda
"I plugged a power inverter into my truck, ran an extension cord into my aptartment, hooked the old rabbit ears back onto the TV and got a handful of channels. Sometimes I'd swap the power to other needs like the microwave. Got hydro back in three or four days." — Jay
"I had a friend's daughter for a sleep over with the intention of taking her and my daughters to Pier 4 for Hutch's. We live in Stoney Creek and it took us three hours. We went home had crackers and cheese by candle light." — Shannon
