A Hamilton woman is still trying to raise money for the family of Kesean Williams, the nine-year-old boy who was shot and killed while watching TV at his Brampton home on January 23.
Williams spent most of his life in Hamilton until last summer. He was a student at Dr. J. Edgar Davey Elementary School. A funeral service for the boy is being held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Peoples Church on Mohawk Road West.
Sharon Grant started the campaign hoping to raise $2,000 to offset funeral costs and start an education fund for Kesan's brother, Kajan.

"If we could somehow raise more, that would be great," she added.
Grant says she started the page on indiegogo immediately after she heard about what happened to Kesean. She says he "was very loving and vibrant. Energetic. A little angel."
People looking to donate to the family can do so on the campaign's indiegogo page, or to a trust fund that has been set up at TD Bank. The branch number is 0250 and the account number is 6393534.
