Councillors are poring over budgets again Friday morning at Hamilton City Hall.

After receiving budget reports from the Hamilton Public Library and a host of conservation areas on Thursday, the city is expecting to hear from the Art Gallery of Hamilton, the Festival of Friends, Hamilton Beach Rescue, and more on Friday.

All city departments had previously been directed to put the kibosh on increases in their budgets whenever possible. Five out of the six agencies that presented on Thursday managed to do that.
