Teens wanted for car thefts in Hamilton

Police are searching for three teens who they say have been stealing cars in Hamilton.

Around 1 a.m., a witness saw a person smash out the driver side window of a car on Montclair Avenue, police say.

She called police. When they arrived, three teens took off in another vehicle that had already been reported stolen, police say.

The teens dumped the vehicle in the area of Balsom Avenue and Maplewood Avenue South.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen three teens running in the area around that time to call the east end station at 905-546-2929 or Crime Stoppers at 905-522-8477.
