The condition of an 88-year-old man who was taken to hospital in critical condition on Friday is improving.
The man was struck by a car as he crossed the intersection of Kenora Avenue and Queenston Road.
Police say the man was in the right of way when the accident happened about 12:30 p.m. but the driver failed to yield and was charged. The 88-year-old remains in hospital and his condition has improved to serious but stable.
Early Sunday another collision sent a cyclist to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say an 18-year-old man was riding his bike against the light as he crossed Emerson Street near Main Street W. at about 1 a.m. Police say he clipped the corner of an HSR bus that had crossed on a green light.
The cyclist has been changed with an offence notice under the Highway Traffic Act.
