A pair of bodies found in a Mount Hope home are under investigation and undergoing autopsies Thursday morning.

Hamilton Police did not respond to questions on if the deaths are considered suspicious.

Regional Supervising Coroner Dr. Jack Stanborough confirmed autopsies are being performed at Hamilton General Hospital, but wouldn't comment on what state the bodies were found in. He did say the pair, discovered Wednesday evening, were in their 50s.

A neighbour who wished not to be identified said the Mount Hope house that was taped off by police was home to Wayne and Lisa Forsyth. He described the pair as good, quiet neighbours who kept to themselves.
