Police are looking for a man who they say used a knife during a robbery of a local convenience store.

Police say around 1:37 p.m. on Feb. 18, a lone male walked into a Big Bee Convenience store on Cannon Street East. He pulled a 12-centimetre (five-inch) knife out of his right pocket, police say, and robbed the employee of an undisclosed amount of cash.

There were no injuries.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5'6", 20 to 25 years old and clean shaven wearing blue jeans, a black and grey jacket and a black and grey hat covering his ears.
