It's freezing out there, Hamilton, but don't tell that to our friends south of the border in Boston who are jumping out second floor windows as part of the #BostonBlizzardChallenge. It has become a viral hit, and the mayor of the city is asking people to knock it off. You can see a video at the bottom of the Daystarter.
And in more snow-related news, schools are closed in P.E.I. today, while they dig themselves out of 86.8 cm of snow. And more is in the forecast.
Suddenly, a high of -7 C for Hamilton with light snow seems like a dream.
No major traffic disruptions being reported in the city this morning. GO Transit isn't reporting any disruptions on lines connected to Hamilton.
- Collision: Eastbound Highway 403 at Waterdown Road. Two vehicles partially blocking right lane. 6:45 a.m.
The forecast is for flurries today, with a high of -7 C. As the night settles in, it will get cold — the temperature is expected to fall to -18 C, with windchill that will feel like -25 C.
The deep freeze will return on Thursday with a high of -15 C that will feel like -30 C.

The 13-storey apartment building at 150 Sanford has only partially completed work orders, leaving a half empty building and a city hall looking for next steps on how to force the landlord to comply with work orders, and Councillor Matthew Green running our of patience.
Rashid Adan, 24, and Anthony Johnson, 23, will be sentenced for the Emerald Gardens shooting from 2012. Peter Williams was shot five times, survived, but has since died of unrelated causes. Their sentences will be handed out Wednesday morning.
