The Ancaster Fair will be a popular campaign spot this weekend for the big three mayoral candidates, and one will attend his mother's funeral home visitation.

Brad Clark, Fred Eisenberger and Brian McHattie will be on the campaign trail, and they all plan to attend the Ancaster Fair.

Eisenberger will attend the fair on Saturday. On Sunday, he will attend the visitation of his mother, Theadora, who died on Wednesday at age 92.

Clark will attend several "meet and greet" events, his campaign says. He'll also be at the Ancaster Fair and in his Dundas and Stoney Creek campaign offices this weekend.

McHattie will attend the launch of Hispanic Heritage Week at city hall at noon on Saturday. He'll canvass in the afternoon and attend a Hamilton Philharmonic event in the evening.

On Sunday, he'll attend the Ancaster Fair. He'll attend an International Day of Peace event at the city hall peace garden at 1:30 p.m., followed by a People's Platform event at 2 p.m.

The People's Platform is a citizen-led initiative where residents discuss and prioritize issues that are important to them in the election.
