Hamilton weather, traffic and more: Daystarter Wednesday

It's another cool one out there this morning Hamilton, with temperatures hovering around 12 C. It should warm up come afternoon.

If you're looking to get gas, the cheapest price in the area is 126.9 at the Amco at 859 Hwy 6 near 5th Concession West in Flamborough.

GO Transit isn't reporting any delays on lines linked to Hamilton this morning. Expect the usual slowdowns on route 16 heading into Toronto because of construction on the Gardiner.

Here are the issues police are reporting this morning:

• A crash at Hwy 403 eastbound at the Linc. 9:04 a.m.
• Traffic on Francis Street at Emerald Street North. 8:02 a.m.
• A collision at Ottawa Street North and Main Street East. 5:32 a.m.

Today's forecast calls for a mix of sun and cloud, with a 40 per cent chance of showers this afternoon and risk of a thunderstorm. High 21 C. UV index 7 or high.

Tonight will be mainly cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers and risk of a thunderstorm this evening. Low 13 C.

Thursday's forecast calls for a mix of sun and cloud with a chance of showers and a high of 24 C.

Expect a chance of rain every day for the rest of this week and into the weekend.

And one year ago today, a father of two with a disability spoke to his family for the last time before he got on his bicycle and headed north in the city. Now his family is reaching out to the public, pleading for anyone with answers into Michael Sullivan's death to speak out.
