Sure, it's Monday — but at least it's going to be a gloriously warm one.

That's right. After a damp, cool March, some summery weather is finally coming our way today. Expect a high of 28 C (!) today.

Today's forecast is sunny with a high of 28 C, and a slight wind coming out of the Southwest.

Expect increasing cloudiness early this evening with a 60 per cent chance of showers late this evening and overnight with risk of a thunderstorm. Tonight's low is 16 C.

Tomorrow will be mainly cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of showers in the afternoon and early in the evening with risk of a thunderstorm. Tomorrow's high is 26 C.

More than two dozen firefighters took part in a rope rescue at Tew's Falls Sunday, after a woman tumbled down a 25-metre distance. The fall involved "some free-falling," he said, but the woman tumbled along portions of the cliff before coming to a rest.

At tonight's school board meeting, trustees will make decisions on the closure of schools in Flamborough. Reporter Samantha Craggs will be at the meeting, and you can follow along with her on Twitter.
