Hamilton Daystarter: Everything you need to know Friday

Spontaneously break into song on Friday, Hamilton, because it's Barbershop Quartet Day.

And why not — because what promotes peace and harmony on Earth more than… four-part harmony?

To honour the occasion, here's a sampling of sounds from Hamilton-based barbershop outfit Chameleon. 

Ontario Provincial Police are reporting the following collisions on highways in the Hamilton area:

• Toronto-bound QEW at the bottom of the Burlington Skyway: Collision has cleared – 8:41 a.m.

GO Transit says there are no delays on trains or buses running in and out of Hamilton on Friday morning. 

Enjoy the sun on Friday, because a showers are coming the city's way. Environment Canada calls for mostly sunny skies and a high of 14 C for the day.

A high of 14 C is also in store for Saturday, but increasing cloudiness in the afternoon followed by a 60 per cent chance of rain in the late evening are expected.

Warm, wet weather is in store for Sunday and Monday. A high of 17 C and a 70 per cent chance of showers are in store for both days.

The Tim Bosma case returned to the headlines Thursday with new charges for the accused and the arrest of 21-year-old police believe to be connected to the slaying.

In the afternoon, Ontario Provincial Police announced Dellen Millard and Mark Smich, the two men who face first degree murder charges in the Ancaster father's death, now face charges in the suspected killing of Millard's ex-girlfriend Laura Babcock. Millard is also charged in the 2012 death of his father, who was believed to have committed suicide.

Police also arrested Christina Noudga, 21, of Toronto, and charged her with accessory after the fact in Bosma's death. She is set to appear in a Hamilton court on Friday morning. CBC Hamilton will be covering the appearance.
