It's a rainy December day, and the traffic outside is frightful.
No freezing rain quite yet, but the roads are a bit slick and driving is slow. Leave yourself some extra time this morning to get where you need to go and drive carefully.
We'll be updating traffic every 10 minutes to help you out. This is Daystarter: The Traffic Edition.

8:40 a.m.: Still a smooth go on the highways this morning.
The West 5th access route has cleared up and is moving as normal.
Traffic on Fennell is thickening both ways from Garth to Upper Gage.
Traffic in Dundas isn't looking great at the moment. Old Ancaster Road is slow, as is Governer's Road and King Street.
8:25 a.m.: Highways are still moving as normal. The Wilson Street on-ramp to the 403 EB has re-opened.
In town, Upper James and West 5th heading down into the lower city are a bit on the slow side, as they normally are at this time of day. The access routes (West 5th, Jolley Cut, Sherman, Claremont) are all slow as well.
John Street is slow heading north.
8:10 a.m.: Again, no changes on highways or public transit service.
In town, the access routes are still heavy.
Burlington Street East heading towards the QEW is slower than normal.
7:55 a.m.: No changes on highways nor are there service disruptions on GO.
In town, the access routes down into the lower city are starting to fill up; West 5th and the Jolley Cut in particular.
7:45 a.m.: No changes on the highways and still no issues on GO Transit.
In town, the Red Hill Valley Parkway heading towards the QEW is slow moving.
7:30 a.m.: The on-ramp to the 403 EB at Wilson Street in Ancaster is closed this morning because of a collision.
Traffic over the Skyway Bridge QEW Toronto-bound is slow-moving.
MTO cameras show the 403 past Aldershot through to the QEW is moving normally both ways
Onto the 401 from the 403 eastbound, traffic is starting to slow.
In town, roads are moving fine so far.
No issues to report on GO buses or trains.
A freezing rain warning is in effect for the city of Hamilton this morning.
Zero degrees and no wind chill to start this Friday. Expect rain and freezing rain all day. A high of 2 C.
That freezing rain is going to stick all weekend. Tonight, more rain and a low of -1 C.
Saturday: drizzle and freezing drizzle in the morning turning into freezing rain in the afternoon. The temperature will sit at freezing in the afternoon.
On Sunday, periods of freezing rain and a high of 2 C.
The funeral for the 8-year-old boy killed by a piece of steel on Sunday is set for today. Schuyler Six was with his father, Chris, at Ralm Industrial Millwrights on Imperial St. near Sherman Avenue North when he was struck in the head by falling steel.
Police deemed the incident non-criminal. The Ministry of Labour is investigating.
A Hamilton doctor is heading to to the Philippines this week to help out with typhoon relief efforts there.
Brianna Wilson is a doctor with Canada-based international aid organization Samaritan's Purse.
Typhoon Haiyan slammed the Philippines in early November, killing over 5,000 people and leaving tens of thousands homeless. Major cities like Tacloban and Cebu were devastated by the storm, leaving many dependent on foreign aid being brought to the city.
