Neil Young and Crazy Horse pull out of Harvest Picnic

Neil Young and Crazy Horse cancelled their headlining gig at the Greenbelt Harvest Picnic.

Rolling Stone reported Monday afternoon the band was forced to cancel the North American leg of their tour because of an injury to guitarist's Frank Sampedro's hand. The Greenbelt Harvest Picnic is scheduled for Aug. 31.

Neil Young and Crazy Horse. is no longer listed under the 'Artists' section on the festival website.

This also means the band has given up their headlining spot at the Ottawa Folk Festival on Sept. 4.

Young also cancelled the seven European earlier in August because of Samedro's injury.
