Dellen Millard, one of the men charged with killing Tim Bosma, will appear in court on September 12 to set a date for a judicial pretrial.

That was the result of a brief Hamilton court appearance for Millard Thursday morning.

Millard, who is charged with first-degree murder in the death of the Ancaster, Ont. man, was wearing grey dress pants and a white shirt. He did not speak during his court appearance, and stood silently with his hands folded in front of him and briefly looked around the courtroom.

Bosma's wife Sharlene was in the courtroom alongside family and freinds.

Bosma, 32, was selling his pickup truck on the internet and last seen taking two strangers on a test drive in May. Police announced that his badly burned remains were found about a week later in the Waterloo region.

Mark Smich, who is also charged with first-degree murder in connection with the case, will appear in Hamilton court at 2 p.m. Thursday.

A website has been launched for a charity created by Sharlene Bosma for the families of homicide victims at Timstribute.ca. Donations can also be made directly to Christian Stewardship Services, Suite 214A - 500 Alden Road, Markham, Ont., L3R 5H5, payable to CSS with the memo notated to "Tim's Tribute".
