Alcohol ruled out in Binbrook crash

Alcohol wasn't a factor in a Friday morning crash that sent five people to hospital, Hamilton police say.

Around 11:30 a.m., two vehicles collided at the intersection of Binbrook Road and Westbrook Road.

All five people in one vehicle were taken to hospital while the only person in the second vehicle was treated at the scene by EMS and released.

One 30-year-old woman from Mississauga is still in hospital with critical but stable injuries.

Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, police say. Any witnesses who haven't spoken with police are being asked to contact Det. Const. Wes Wilson at 905-546-4753.
